Opel File Modification – Lower Engine Operating Temperature
A professional ECU file modification service for Opel vehicles, involving the modification of parameters responsible for the radiator fan activation temperature and the target engine operating temperature controlled by the thermostat.

In many Opel models, the factory settings predict a high engine operating temperature – often as high as 105°C. This impacts emissions and fuel economy, but does not always contribute to component durability. With proper calibration, it is possible to lower the engine operating temperature, for example, from 105°C to around 90–95°C, improving the thermal operating conditions of the entire system.

What does the service include?
ECU file modification involves changing the maps responsible for:

the thermostat opening temperature,

the first and second speed radiator fan activation temperature,

the target coolant operating temperature,

the thermal management strategy under various load conditions.
