Seller. TUN-FILES (tun-files.com) is operated by Jan Bojan, Oś. Nad Sołą 22/40, 32-650 Kęty, Poland, Tax / VAT ID 5492444365, e-mail [email protected]. These terms supplement the shop’s general Terms and Conditions.
Scope. The offer covers one digital file: a ready file assigned to the stated identifiers, or the automatic processing of one ECU/TCU file uploaded by the customer with the services selected before payment. It does not include vehicle installation, diagnostics or remote programming unless the offer expressly says otherwise. Prices are net; VAT is added at checkout where applicable.
Customer account. Uploading a file and buying automatic processing require a customer account. The customer confirms that they own the uploaded file or are authorised to have it processed.
Automatic processing without human review. Automatic files are prepared by the TuningSuite engine and delivered without review by a technician. Automatic processing is offered only when the engine finds a complete, safe plan for all selected services; match confidence and originality status are technical results, not a guarantee of performance, legal compliance or safety. Services that cannot be delivered automatically, such as file check and DTC removal, are handled only as manual orders through support.
Checksums. The file is delivered WITHOUT checksum correction. Correct the checksum with your programming tool before writing it to the ECU.
Licence. The customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the file in one compatible vehicle or controller for their own professional or private use. Resale, public distribution, bulk copying and removal of identifiers are prohibited.
Selection and writing responsibility. Before writing, every HW, SW and ECU number, engine variant, format and read method must be compared. The customer is responsible for a correct base read, stable power, a backup of the original file and suitable professional tools. Every file is written to the control unit at the customer’s own risk.
Emissions, sound and off-road use. Solutions that disable or alter emission, exhaust or sound-related systems (including DPF/GPF, EGR, SCR/AdBlue, catalysts, lambda/NOx sensors, EVAP, SAI, flaps, Pops and Bangs and Hardcut) are supplied solely for off-road, motorsport or test-bench use. A vehicle with such a modification must not be used on public roads, and the modification or its use may be illegal in the customer’s country. Before buying such a service the customer must confirm this separately and is solely responsible for compliance with local law, type approval and roadworthiness requirements.
Vehicle condition and law. A file cannot repair mechanical faults. Use must comply with the laws, approval, emissions and road-use rules applicable in the customer’s country.
Delivery and remedies. Once payment is confirmed, the file is delivered automatically to the customer’s account under “Ready ECU Files”. If automatic delivery fails, support processes the order manually. A customer may report a corrupted file, a mismatch with the description or a download problem to [email protected]; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Digital content and withdrawal. At the customer’s express request, supply of the digital content begins immediately after payment, before the withdrawal period ends. Having been informed of this beforehand, the customer acknowledges that a consumer loses the right of withdrawal once supply begins, to the extent provided by applicable law.
Liability. The seller is not liable for damage caused by selecting the wrong file or services, an incorrect write procedure, a missing checksum correction or unlawful use. Liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law remains unaffected.
